- Google User Data: We access your Google Calendar events (titles, start/end times, and conference links) via the Google Calendar API (Read-Only) to automatically schedule alarms and reminders.
- Account Information: We store your email address and basic profile info to manage your connected accounts and synchronization.
- App Data: We store your custom alarm settings, snooze preferences, and reminder offsets.
2. How We Use Data
We use the collected information exclusively to:
- Sync your Google Calendar meetings with the app.
- Trigger pre-meeting alarms at your specified times.
- Connect you directly to your virtual meetings (Google Meet/Zoom) via the app.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share or sell your data to any third parties.
3. Google API Disclosure (Limited Use)
Smart Alarm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Data Retention: We only retain synchronized event data for as long as it is needed to provide the alarm service. Event details are stored locally on your device and cached on our secure server for the duration of the scheduled alarm. Once an event is completed or deleted from your Google Calendar, it is removed from our systems.
Data Deletion: Users have full control over their data:
- Disconnecting Accounts: You can disconnect your Google account at any time via the Settings screen in the app. This will immediately stop all synchronization and remove all event data from your device.
- Manual Deletion Request: You may request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at gopal@vriksha.ai. We will fulfill deletion requests within 7 business days.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely synchronized and stored on our private, encrypted cloud servers. We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect your tokens and calendar data in transit and at rest.
